The company entered the mobile phone market and quickly became a significant competitor. 2000s - Focus on Innovation: Samsung placed a strong emphasis on innovation in the 2000s. The company became a leader in the production of flat-panel displays, memory chips, and mobile phones. The Galaxy series of smartphones, introduced in 2010, played a crucial role in establishing Samsung as a dominant force in the smartphone market. As of 2017, Samsung has the 6th highest global brand value.
