When shopping for a dash cam, you may come across the Cobra CDR 855 BT. This particular model is a top pick for several reasons. For starters, it comes with both front and rear cameras to provide complete coverage while you're driving. It also has a built-in GPS tracker, so you can keep tabs on your vehicle's location at all times. Additionally, the CDR 855 BT offers HD recording, night vision, and a wide-angle lens to give you a clear view of the road ahead.
If you're looking for a similar dash cam, the Garmin Drive 61 USA LM is a good option. It also has front and rear cameras, along with HD recording and night vision. However, it doesn't have a GPS tracker. Another option is the Thinkware F800 Pro. This dash cam has all the same features as the CDR 855 BT, plus a few extra, like lane departure warning and forward collision warning.
When it comes to choosing a dash cam, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, think about what features are most important to you. If you travel frequently, a GPS tracker may be a must-have. If you want to be able to review footage later, HD recording is a good option. Night vision is also a nice feature to have, especially if you do a lot of driving in the dark.
The Cobra CDR 855 BT is a great option for anyone in the market for a dash cam. It has all the essential features, plus a few extras that make it a top pick.

Cobra dash cams offer strong driver-assistance features, notably integrated radar/laser alerts and cloud-connected safety warnings via the Drive Smarter app. However, some advanced options like comprehensive parking surveillance modes are less robust compared to dedicated competitors.
Performance
7.3 /10
Video capture provides adequate 1080p to 4K resolution during bright daylight conditions, but low-light clarity and dynamic range suffer from noticeable noise and glare. Reliable continuous loop recording is counterbalanced by occasional app connectivity hiccups and slow video download speeds.
Design
7.5 /10
The devices feature utilitarian, durable builds with intuitive physical button layouts and practical magnetic mounts for easy removal. Despite their functional ergonomics, the hardware profiles can be somewhat bulky on the windshield compared to modern, minimalist alternatives.
